Aventics was formed in March 2014 from a division spun off from Bosch Rexroth specializing in pneumatics components. The new name is a juxtaposition of the words advantage, invention and pneumatics, and expresses the goal guiding the company. Aventics’ aspiration is to create, on the basis of its greatest advantages, namely its long tradition, experienced staff of specialists and proven solutions, innovative products using the latest materials and developments in electrical engineering.

While Bosch Rexroth Pneumatics has dedicated its products to applications in the food, electronics, automotive, machinery, metal and mining industries, Aventics is also interested in working with heavy industry and the medical technology sector.
